WHAT WE DO

MISSION

At The Field’s Edge, we are dedicated to upholding human dignity by providing homes for the homeless and fostering a lifestyle of service for the glory of Christ.

The Field’s Edge was established in 2016 by John-Mark and Briana Echols, who had spent years volunteering with local nonprofits to support the homeless. Feeling called to deepen their commitment, they sold their home in January 2017 and moved with their daughter to Austin, Texas. There, they joined the Community First Village for a four-month missional internship. Their mission: to learn how to create a tiny home community for their chronically homeless friends in Midland.

VISION

We envision that Midland will be a place where those who have experienced chronic homelessness have the opportunity find home for good!
